Northstar Mite Major go to 3-0 on Season

The Northstar Mite Majors traveled north to Manchester, New Hampshire on Sunday, looking to keep their league record perfect. From the opening face off, the game was going to be tough and hard fought. After going back and forth for most of the first period, the Northstars opened the scoring with a goal from Colin Wenrich. The flames quickly answered with 2 goals in the beginning of the second period. For the first time all year, the Mite Majors found themselves trailing. Coach David Gow settled the troops and kept them focused on what they do best. Collin Wenrich added his second goal and tied the game 2-2. Shortly after that, Nathan Terski took a great pass from Aiden Cornwell and buried it into the Flames net for a 3-2 lead. Kyle Rogers netted the 4th goal in the 3rd period and the Northstars went on to a 4-2 victory. Drew Albertson kept the Flames in check for the win in net. Danny Sheeran and Nicholas Werner each tallied an assist. They are now 3-0 in league play and on top of the Mite Major Mass Selects league.

They take their undefeated record down to the South Shore Dynamos next Sunday.
