Northstar Hockey is proud to announce the Head Coach’s for their Midget program for the 2013 -14 season.
U16 Midget Tier I – Thomas Ryan returns to the Northstars this season as the Head Coach of the U16 Tier I team. TJ played collegiately at Union College and has coached within the Northstar organization for the last 8 season. TJ was the Head Coach of last season’s Northstar U16 Tier II team that finished the season with an 8-4-2 record league record and also qualified for the Mass Hockey U16 Tier II State Championship Tournament. The Northstars U16 Tier I team will participate in the Massachusetts Hockey Selects Tier I League this season.
U16 Midget Tier II – Mike Roy has been named as the Head Coach of the Northstars U16 Tier II team. Mike played collegiately at Quinnipiac University before becoming the Head Coach of the Algonquin Regional High School varsity hockey team for 18 seasons. Mike has spent the last 7 seasons coaching for the Minutemen Flames organization. The Northstars U16 Tier II team will participate in the Massachusetts Tier II Midget Development League again this season.
U18 Midget Tier II – Peter Joyal has been named as the Head Coach of the Northstars U18 Tier II team. Pete played for and was the Captain of the Algonquin Regional High School varsity hockey team. Pete has spent the last 4 seasons on the bench as an assistant coach for the Wachusett Regional High School varsity hockey team as well as a teacher at the school. The Northstars U18 Tier II team will also participate in the Massachusetts Tier II Midget Development League this season.
